Our team is currently installing Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) systems across Dorset, including Bournemouth, Poole, and Ferndown. These units are being integrated into residential lofts to mitigate condensation and mould growth by improving indoor air quality. Each installation is conducted by City & Guilds qualified electricians with over 20 years of experience, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and technical standards. We are removing older, inefficient ventilation units and replacing them with modern, energy-efficient systems to support property maintenance for local landlords and homeowners.

The PIV units function by drawing fresh, filtered air into the property, creating a slight internal pressure that displaces stale, humid air through existing ventilation points. This technical process reduces the internal dew point, preventing moisture from condensing on cold external walls and window frames. We are also providing consumer unit upgrades where necessary to accommodate new ventilation circuits and ensure overall electrical safety in Poole and surrounding areas. The filtered air supply also aids in reducing airborne allergens and dust levels within the dwelling.

It is important to distinguish between condensation-related damp and structural issues like penetrating or rising damp. While PIV is a solution for humidity-related mould, it does not address water ingress from defective building fabric or rising ground moisture. Our recent projects in Ringwood and Boscombe have demonstrated significant improvements in air quality through these background ventilation systems. We maintain a strict adherence to Part F and Part P of the Building Regulations during every installation phase to ensure technical compliance and long-term reliability.

Additional work involving CCTV, security systems, and audio-visual installations for commercial clients in Canford Cliffs is underway. Our team continues to provide 24/7 emergency services and comprehensive electrical design across the region, including Hampshire and Wiltshire. We are also performing periodic inspections and testing to ensure commercial electrical services meet current standards.
