IP Cameras

Internet Protocol cameras, also know as network cameras, are becoming more popular because of their integration into business networks and infrastructure. The image quality is also worlds apart from that of analogue reaching a 10 Megapixel or 1080p recording quality, in comparison to the Analogue’s 0.4 Megapixel recording quality. The IP camera works much like a home router or work station; the cabling used is generally cat5e networking cable with the use of a Power Over Ethernet (POE) system. This type of camera transmits live images over an IP network, internet or intranet where you can view or manage each and every camera installed, giving the end user full controllability. The live camera feeds can be accessed from desktop computers, tablets and smart phones and are recorded on a Network Video Recorder (NVR).
