IP Cameras

Internet Protocol cameras, also know as network cameras, are becoming more popular because of their integration into business networks and infrastructure. The image quality is also worlds apart from that of analogue reaching a 10 Megapixel or 1080p recording quality comparing to the Analogues 0.4 Megapixel recording quality. They work much like a home router or work station, the cabling used is generally cat5e networking cable with the use of a Power Over Ethernet (POE) system. This type of cameras transmit live images over an IP network, internet or intranet to view or manage each and every camera installed, giving the end user full controllability. The live camera feeds can be accessed from desktop computers, tablets and smart phones and are recorded on an Network Video Recorder (NVR).
