Our team is currently completing several consumer unit upgrades across Ferndown and Ringwood to ensure residential compliance with BS 7671 18th Edition regulations. These installations replace outdated re-wirable fuses with modern boards featuring RCD and RCBO protection, significantly reducing fire risk and providing essential shock protection. We are also integrating Surge Protection Devices (SPD) as standard to protect home electronics from voltage spikes, a necessary requirement for modern households in the Dorset area.

In response to increasing reports of mould and condensation in Poole and Bournemouth properties, we are deploying Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) systems. These units are being installed in loft spaces to circulate filtered air throughout the home, creating a positive pressure environment that prevents damp. Our City & Guilds qualified electricians handle the full electrical integration, typically via a dedicated fused spur, ensuring the system operates efficiently with minimal energy consumption.

We are also conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for landlords and homeowners in Ensbury Park and surrounding districts. These inspections identify hidden faults, such as deteriorating wiring insulation or inadequate earthing, which are common in older properties. With over 20 years of experience, our team provides factual assessments and transparent quoting for any remedial works required to achieve a satisfactory safety rating.

Recent projects in Bearwood and Canford Heath have focused on commercial safety upgrades and industrial maintenance. We are currently scheduling routine safety checks and emergency response services to maintain local infrastructure. Photos of our latest industrial switchgear projects to follow in the next update.

Thanks.
