Fit-outs, lighting, small power, board upgrades and the compliance testing that keeps your landlord and insurer happy.
From a single floor to a whole building — first and second fix, lighting, small power, floor boxes, dado trunking and data containment, coordinated with your IT contractor.
Most of our office work happens around occupied desks, so we agree up front what can be done in hours, what needs an evening or weekend, and what needs a phased programme.
Three-phase supplies, distribution boards and sub-mains. Comms room and server power. Fire alarm systems, emergency lighting to BS 5266, and commercial EICRs with certification for your compliance file.
We are NAPIT-approved and based on the Ferndown Industrial Estate, covering Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne and across East Dorset. We work to managing agents’ permit and RAMS processes, and can supply method statements before we start.
You get a fixed price, itemised, with any provisional sums flagged rather than buried.
We look after the electrical side of offices and business parks across Dorset — fit-outs, lighting, small power, board upgrades and the compliance testing that keeps your landlord and insurer happy. Most office work happens around occupied desks, so the practical question is usually not “can you do it” but “can you do it without stopping people working”. Usually yes, in phases or out of hours.
We are a NAPIT-approved contractor based on the Ferndown Industrial Estate, covering Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown and across East Dorset.
The thing that separates a good commercial job from a disruptive one is sequencing. We will normally walk the floor with you first and agree what can be done in hours, what needs an evening or weekend, and what needs a phased programme. Isolations get planned and communicated rather than sprung on people.
If your building is multi-tenanted or managed, we are used to working to a managing agent’s permit and RAMS process, and can supply method statements and risk assessments before we start.
Three things come up on nearly every enquiry:
If you are not sure where you stand, we can inspect and tell you plainly — including telling you everything is in order, which is often the answer.
Plenty of our office clients would rather not think about any of the above. A planned maintenance contract covers the scheduled testing and certification, and gives you a number to ring when something fails. We also do reactive call-outs if you would rather keep it ad hoc.
Office work varies too much for a price list — a lighting upgrade across one floor is a different job to a full fit-out with new distribution. What we will do is survey properly and give you a fixed price, itemised so you can see what is what, with any provisional sums flagged rather than buried.
Yes. Evenings, weekends and phased programmes are normal for us on occupied premises.
Typically every five years, but your lease or insurer may require it more frequently, and a change of use or occupancy can trigger one sooner.
