Retail & Shop Electricians in Dorset

Shopfits, display and feature lighting, tills and small power — with the disruptive work done outside trading hours.

Shopfits & Refits

Full first and second fix for new units and refurbishments — track and display lighting, window and cabinet lighting, dimming and scene setting, tills and card terminals on dedicated circuits.

Retail work lives or dies on timing. We plan around your opening hours from the first visit, and where a shopfitting deadline is tight we phase the work so the unit opens on time.

Compliance for retail units

Your lease will usually set the inspection interval for the fixed wiring, and emergency lighting needs monthly function tests plus an annual full-duration test recorded in a logbook. If you have taken on a unit and inherited unknown wiring, an EICR is the sensible first move.

Maintenance

A planned maintenance contract covers scheduled testing and certification and gives you a number to ring when something fails. We also do reactive call-outs.

What it costs

Every building is different, so we survey properly and give you a fixed price, itemised so you can see what is what, with any provisional sums flagged rather than buried.

Why CCTV pays off

Five ways a system protects your business

Protects against burglary

Visible cameras are a powerful deterrent — intruders are far less likely to target a property they know is recorded.

Prevents employee theft

A culture of accountability and transparency, with the presence of cameras discouraging dishonest practices.

Deters shoplifting

Real-time monitoring lets staff spot and address suspicious behaviour, with footage that stands up as evidence.

24/7 peace of mind

Continuous surveillance you can check any time from your phone — instant awareness of anything unusual.

Lowers vandalism risk

Knowing an area is monitored discourages criminal damage — protecting your premises and your bottom line.
